I bought a new movie...

... and its so awful, I'm embarassed to watch it. It's from one of my favourite visual kei bands, the now-defunct Malice Mizer. It's called "Bara no konrei" and it has some sort of vampire/unrequited love/cheesy special effects theme. I didn't expect it to be good, I just bought it because it was on sale. It's what I do. I buy therefore I am. And for your delectation, here is a picture of lovely Mana, ex-bassist of Malice Mizer. ~kawaii~ Oh, and happy halloween. I'll put some costume-y pics up later.

E.T. go home!

Oh noes! The aliens have ensnared Becki in their gas chamber pod and are preparing her for dissection! They will remove all her organs, vital and otherwise, and float them in glass jars for diabolical reasons unbeknownst to me! Damn you, you alien fiends!! TAKE ME INSTEAD!!!!!

*On a down note, I have a really stuffy nose today. I hate being sick.

DON'T PANIC!

Yay, I just finished reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", which Phil lent me. 'Twas a good read. The only disapointment was that it ended unexpectedly soon- I thought they would at least go to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. I've seen the original BBC TV series, but I hadn't actually read the book til now. Becki was appalled at that. She threatened to revoke my membership to geekdom. Oh, the shame of it all. Um, anyways, I should have read this book earlier. It's exactly the kind of absurd humour I like, though I guess not everyone's cup of tea. It's odd to find out little bits of this book have made their way into mainstream culture, like Babelfish or 'Paranoid Android'. By the way, like the towel? I googled it ex-specially for this post.

Toasty!

Wonderful news! It is finally scarf weather! I have pulled out my little room heater because this place has no central heating. It's like a tiny fireplace. So cute! Watch me burn down the entire apartment building or something. I shall call him.... Jasper.

Takarazuka, City of Dreams

That's not the actual slogan of the city... (dramatic pause)...but it should be. This is a picture I took of the carousel in Takarazuka. What a cute city. I feel its time I proclaimed my love for this place on the blog. I want to go see the Takarazuka Revue, because I am LAME. I already have a bunch of magazines and stuff featuring the Takarazuka Revue girls (again, LAME). My favourite actress is Yuu Todoroki, because her voice is lovely and so is she. She's not lame, but I might be for being such an ardent fan. Ooh, ~ardent~, I like that word! OK, lame post over. You may now go about your business.

Unexpectedly not weak

I have been watching this movie called "Samurai Fiction". I rented it yesterday even though Becki scoffed at my choice. I would have to say it's probably.......... the best! movie! ever! It has everything you could want in a movie: samurai, ninjas, and a super cool bad guy. Tomoyasu Hotei is the samurai baddy. You may or may not know him as the composer of 'Battle without honour or humanity' from Kill Bill (the whoa shit song, as my sister calls it). Plus he was in this rock group called Boowy, whose cds I shall be renting ASAP. Anyways, I recommend it. And not just because it has a hot villain, either.

ION SUPPLY DRINK

Just a small post to state my utter devotion to Pocari Sweat. Sweet nectar of the gods! Forget you, Diet Coke, you mere device. My eyes are only for Pocari, in all its ionized and fruity glory. Now I'm off to dump these bottles at 7-11.

Endless Rain, Fall on my Heart...

We are having a Nova Halloween costume party at the end of the month. I was going to go as a pirate (yarr!), but other people keep threatening to be one too, and it would be such a faux pas to have the same costume, desu ne? I would be cruelly mocked and shunned from high society! Instead, I think I shall go as an 80's rock star, which will give me a chance to break out my legwarmers and fishnets. I want my hair to be real big, like X-Japan here, who are my inspiration. And when I say "inspiration", I am specifically denying any and all suggestions that I'll be cosplaying. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Actually, yes, there is something wrong with it, it's uber-lame.

Best post evar!

This is an actual undoctored photograph I took of my Super Saiyan Pandas in the mini zen garden. They have phenomenal cosmic power... and itty bitty living space.

KICC

Yesterday was my Japanese lesson in Kobe. I'm a pretty mediocre student. At least there's a sweet view. Hey, it's my store, Tsutaya! *twinkle*

Yonsamaaaaaaaaaaa

Today I bought some kick-ass socks. They feature Bae Yong-joon, or Yonsama, South Korea's answer to Harry Potter.

Tch

Rien.
